At the beginning of June 2024 Haley and Joe both swiped right and matched on Facebook dating (yes this IS a thing). Both of us in very different stages of online dating and neither one of us had much faith in the coffee date to come. On June 8, 2024 we met for coffee at DORO and our 3 hour date felt like a 3 minute conversation. Things moved quickly after that. Haley met Joe's family and Joe came to July fourth weekend at the beach! We survived babysitting 3 kids together for a weekend and we realized we were a great team. August came around and Haley moved into Joe's house and we went on our first vacation together to Maine. We quickly began blending our families by hosting dinners, going to UConn football games, starting new holiday traditions and enjoying our time together. Our love for each other continued to grow and we knew we had found our person. On December 5, 2025 in the freezing cold, Joe got down on one knee in front of the most beautiful Christmas lights at New England Botanic Gardens and made for the most magical night where Haley said YES! We are so excited for all our family and friends to come celebrate with us on our special day. We can't wait to see you!
